Ironing all done and put away
Household chores all done for the day
Sitting and resting with a cup of tea
It’s my time precious just for me
The sun is shining birds fly high
Lazy clouds float way up in the sky
A sigh of contentment a beautiful day
Stress has gone just pushed away
Closing my eyes listening to sounds
Listening to insects buzzing around
Glorious day don’t let it end soon
Just drifting away on a lazy afternoon
